A little torn...

He slept on the bed, lying, thinking about the conversation.

He could just imagine how lonely Crystel was, without her loved ones by her side during the festive season.

Aidan laid on his bed, unable to get back to sleep. Ever since he heard of the accident, he's been trying to get in touch with her, but it's been a futile attempt.

Until today.



A few days later, and he'll be back. To visit Shawn. To see what he can do to help.

And of course, there's Crystel.

"No, I can't be thinking about that now. Shawn is my good friend. I can't just..."

His eye became heavy, and the thoughts began to fade out as he enters dreamland

A little hope...

"Beep Beep", she glance at her phone the table, waking her from her daze, a foreign number to her.

"Hello?"

"Good evening, are you Miss Crystel?",a lady on the other end asked.

"Yes..you are?"

"Theres a long distance call from the States,do you want to answer the call?"

"Hmm alright, put me through.."

"Crystel, this is Aidan."

"Oh Aidan,Merry Christmas.."

"I heard about the tragic accident, sorry for taking so long to call you, i was traveling around and i only got to know after i came back last few months, i tried calling you but you changed your number, took me alot of effort to get this new number of yours..why didn't you call me?"

"......"

"Look, i will be coming back to Singapore in a few days. I want to visit Shawn and see what i can do to help."

"Hmm I don't think its necessary.. I mean..." Aidan cut her "Crystel, i will look for you when i'm back. Theres nothing you can do about it but wait for my call. Take care and See you then."

She reminices the past after hanging the phone..Aidan is Shawn's best buddy when they were studying in States..After finishing school, Shawn and Crystel decide to return to hometown to work, as for Aidan he decide to take up a job in a world famous bank and reside in States. The last time they met was before the tragic accident, tears start falling down form Crystel's eyes...Whenever she thought about the accident, tears can't help but to fall from her eyes...

Wiping her face, she pick up her belongings and decide to leave the cafe. Walking along the streets, she could see couples holding hands walking along, absorbing the joyous air surrounding them. She just tug her jacket tighter and walk towards the hospital direction.

She needs to tell Shawn the good news that Aidan is coming back. Maybe, Aidan's presence will help Shawn to wake up from the long sleep.Maybe it will.Maybe...

A little magic...

She sat at the cafe alone. Watching couples, families and friends enjoying themselves in the festive period. Somehow or rather, she always felt more alone during Christmas. It was a melancholic period for her. She always tend to reflect on the past years and what she has accomplished throughout her life.

It seems that she has not accomplished much nor anything spectacular in her life. She has a job same as many others. She has plenty of friends but how many of them would be there during hard times for her? In otherwords, how many of them were true friends?

She wished for a little magic this year. To give her the warm feeling in her heart that she was lacking. Something to cheer her up and to look forward to every year...

Welcome to the blog orgy!

How does this work?

Basically, there this is a collection of mini stories mould into one huge story. Everyone just needs to continue the story by the previous author. Everyone just needs to continue the story.

Don't worry about being lame, longwinded, uncreative, bad english or typos, the main point is just to have fun!

We'll just get everyone in first before we start.
