a little apprehension...
Five minutes isn't very long and in no time, Aidan and Crystel were both approaching the hospital room that they knew so well.As they were nearing the entrance of the ward, the footsteps of Aidan and Crystel both slowed down...they were unsure.
unsure of how to resolve the present situation, unsure of how shawn would react to their being together, unsure of how they would react themselves in such a awkward situation.
Right in front of the ward door, Aidan stopped and turned. Gripping both of Crystel's hands in his, he looked into her eyes and said fiercely.
"We will face this together. I will be right beside you. Do not worry..."
Crystel nodded, her eyes brimming with unshed tears and anguish. She leaned into Aidan to feel his strength and to renew her own. Sensing her need for assurance, Aidan pulled Crystel into a tight embrace.
While the couple was locked in a tight embrace, the ward door suddenly opened...
